IEEE IMSAA 2010 is the 4th International Conference on Internet Multimedia Systems Architecture and Application, an arm of the IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional society designed to serve professionals involved in all aspects of the electrical, electronic and computing fields and related areas of science and technology that underlie modern civilization.
Dr. Pruthi’s inaugural keynote address, “Cyber Security: Challenges and State-of-the-Art Techniques in Combating Cyber Crime,” will provide attendees with the latest information on malware and vulnerability threats, cyber-terrorism, and defending the homeland against new methods of attack, discussing current as well as state-of-the-art methods of defense.

Based upon his doctoral research on the use of Chaos theory to model high variability phenomenon in networking, Dr. Pruthi, along with notable colleagues in the industry, developed unique methods of analyzing network traffic, enabling a scalable and integrated approach to network security and performance.
